C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre mère et matriarche bien-aimée, Cristina Perrotta Forgione, le 19 janvier 2024. Elle a quitté ce monde paisiblement chez elle, entourée de la chaleur et de l’amour de sa famille.
Cristina a touché la vie de nombreuses personnes. Son esprit compatissant et son sourire radieux ont laissé une empreinte durable dans le cœur de ceux qu’elle a rencontrés. Elle était non seulement une mère dévouée et une amie fidèle, mais aussi une source de force et d’inspiration. Prédécédée par son mari, Antonio Forgione, l’héritage de Cristina se poursuit à travers ses enfants : Pino (Debra), Assunta (Jim), Adele (Marco) et Daniela.
Elle était la grand-mère chérie de ses neuf petits-enfants : David, Emma, Jake, Alexandra, Jordana, Lauren, Olivia, AJ et Will, qui poursuivront ses leçons de gentillesse et de résilience.
Nous invitons chaleureusement la famille, les amis et ceux dont la vie a été touchée par Cristina à se joindre à nous pour célébrer sa vie remarquable. En hommage à l’esprit de générosité de Cristina, la famille suggère qu’au lieu de fleurs, des dons soient faits à la Société Alzheimer de Montréal.
Le 23 janvier il y aura une diffusion en direct à partir de 9h.
