Caterina Martorana D’Orsa

On July 23, 2021, Caterina Martorana D’Orsa, loving wife and mother to three children, passed away at the age of 60. Caterina was born and raised in Montreal, and spent over twenty years in the West Island.   

She married Francesco D’Orsa on September 16, 1988 and raised their three children: Dany (Alexia), David (Billy), and Veronica. Caterina was a courageous woman, whose strength and resilience was a source of inspiration to all of those around her. She was creative, with a passion for cooking, baking, and painting.

Classy and elegant, Caterina had an eye for fashion and art, while having an expert decorating touch. Most importantly, she loved being around her family and spoiling her children and grandchildren alike. Caterina was preceded in death by her brother, Biagio Martorana, and father, Calogero Martorana. She is succeeded by her loving husband, Francesco D’Orsa, her children, Dany, Alexia, David, Billy, and Veronica, as well as two grandchildren, Christian and Matthew. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 28 at Complexe Funeraire Loreto on 4975 Boulevard des Grand-Prairies from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
