Le 23 juillet 2021, Caterina Martorana D’Orsa, épouse aimante et mère de trois enfants, est décédée à l’âge de 60 ans. Caterina est née et a grandi à Montréal, et a passé plus de vingt ans dans l’ouest de l’île.
Elle a épousé Francesco D’Orsa le 16 septembre 1988 et a élevé leurs trois enfants : Dany (Alexia), David (Billy) et Veronica. Caterina était une femme courageuse, dont la force et la résilience étaient une source d’inspiration pour tous ceux qui l’entouraient. Elle était créative, passionnée par la cuisine, la pâtisserie et la peinture.
Classe et élégante, Caterina avait un œil pour la mode et l’art, tout en ayant une touche de décoration experte. Plus important encore, elle aimait être avec sa famille et gâter ses enfants et petits-enfants. Caterina a été précédée dans la mort par son frère, Biagio Martorana, et son père, Calogero Martorana. Elle est remplacée par son mari aimant, Francesco D’Orsa, ses enfants, Dany, Alexia, David, Billy et Veronica, ainsi que deux petits-enfants, Christian et Matthew.
Un service funéraire aura lieu le mercredi 28 juillet au Complexe Funéraire Loreto au 4975 Boulevard des Grand-Prairies de 10 h à 13 h.
