C’est avec le cœur lourd et une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre chère mère, Iolanda Corbo Polletta de Montréal, Québec. Après une longue maladie, elle est entrée paisiblement en repos le 29 janvier 2022, à l’âge de 90 ans. Elle a été précédée dans la mort par son mari de 46 ans, Luigi Polletta. Elle laisse ses enfants aimants et dévoués Josée Polletta de Montréal et Salvatore Polletta (Ingrid) de Brockville, Ontario et ses petits-enfants bien-aimés Marisa Polletta, Sam Polletta, Luke Polletta, Daniel Polletta et Lia Polletta ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nièces et amis.
Iolanda est née à Puglianello, à Bénévent, en Italie, le 18 juillet 1931. Elle a immigré au Canada en 1954 et a vécu à Montréal, au Québec. Sa plus grande passion était sa famille et surtout ses petits-enfants. Elle était une couturière accomplie, une cuisinière hors pair et une jardinière douée. Elle s’est souvent vantée de pouvoir faire pousser n’importe quoi, et en fait, une fois, une rose à longue tige a pris racine et fleuri pendant de nombreuses années.
La famille et les amis peuvent lui envoyer des fleurs et/ou allumer une bougie en signe d’amour. Nous apprécions si vous laissez un message avec un souvenir, si vous en avez un, à la famille dans le livre d’or sur cette page commémorative de Iolanda Corbo Polletta.
En raison des restrictions covid, une visite privée aura lieu pour la famille immédiate uniquement. La famille tient à vous offrir ses sentiments les plus sincères.
