Passed away peacefully on August 16, 2022 at the age of 101.

Beloved husband to the late Maria Bellofatto.

Cherished uncle of Adele, Giovanni (Sonia) and loved “Zio” to Carolina (Yannick), Amanda, Stephen (Hayley) and great great zio to Percival.

Born in the town of Galluccio, Caserta, Italy in 1921. At age 20, he joined the Italian Navy (Marina Militare), working his way up the ranks before being discharged as secondo capo in 1949.

In 1951, he immigrated to Canada. A year later, he married the love of his life and they spent 63 years by each other’s side.

He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family as a kind and generous man, always ready with the solution to any problem.

Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on August 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mont-Carmel Church (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery (4601 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7)

    La tua scomparsa ci porta tanta tristezza. Ricordo con affetto il tempo trascorso insieme nella mia giovinezza. Tu e la comare eravate sempre presenti nella nostra vita e specialmente alle ricorrenze.
    Ora hai raggiunto il giardino eterno del signore e che Dio possa accoglierti con braccia aperte .

  5. Caro zio Enzo, non ti dimenticheremo mai per la tua signorilità, per l’affetto che hai dimostrato a noi nipoti in Italia e per il grande amore che hai condiviso con la nostra amatissima zia Maria.
    Un grazie “immenso” anche alla nipote ad Adele per averci tenuti sempre aggiornati sulle sue condizioni di salute degli ujtimi anni.
    Sarai sempre nei nostri cuori.
    I tuoi nipoti italiani Pericle (Roma) Alfredo (Rezzato, Brescia), Annamaria (Mignano M.L.) e Lucia e Annafranca (Cassino).
    Il giorno 25 agosto, alle 19.00, sarà celebrata, a Roma, nella chiesa di San Romano Martire, una messa in memoria di zio Enzo.
