August 27, 1935 - December 13, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mr. Pietro Gioia on December 13, 2022 at the age of 87. He leaves to mourn his wife, Antonietta Lisella, his loving daughter, Pierina.

He will be dearly missed by his sister Edda (Michele D’Amico)(Toronto), his brothers-in-law Mario Lisella (late Gisele Cloutier), & Franco Lisella (late Maria Gioia), and his sisters-in-law Angela Lisella (Arturo Prata), Cristina Gioia (late Guido Gioia), Alessandra Lisella (late Giuseppe Armano), Elena Lisella (Domenico Fiore), his aunts in Italy Giovanna Chiarantano (late Felice Farano) & Valentina Chiarantano (late Leonardo Bellantonio), his cousins in Italy Saveria Ciampittiello (Lino Spina), Letizia Farano (late Luigi Micone), Michelina Farano (late Gennaro Galasso), Sandra Bellantonio (Angelo Altieri) & Paolo Bellantonio (Giuseppina Pitoscia) as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

You will forever be in our hearts.

Rest in heavenly peace dear dad.

Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on December 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Pompei (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, Quebec H3V 1E7)
