Pietro Borsellino

Pietro Borsellino

April 28, 1941 - July 28, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Pietro Borsellino announces his passing on July 28, 2021, at the age of 80 years old.  Pietro will be lovingly remembered by his wife Giuseppina of 53 years, and his children and their spouses; Antonina & Robert, Teresa & Sandro, Anthony & Laura.  Pietro will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren & great grandchild, Nara & Claudio, Eduardo, Robert Michael, Giuseppina, Carmela, Nina & Mariella.

Pietro leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile, and for the lessons learned and all the love we shared.

Pietro Borsellino was born in Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily on April 28, 1941. He left his hometown at a very young age, made his way to Canada in search for a promise of prosperity.

Pietro was a man bursting with energy, who always had a look of pride and love in his eyes. His relentless strength to succeed & achieve was contagious; hardworking was an understatement, as there was no mountain he would not climb for his loved ones.  He was an exemplary example as a husband, father, father in-law, grandfather and great grandfather.

Pietro was spiritually strong and compassionate and had a clever sense of humor. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends.

We will miss Pietro more than words can express. Our memories of him will never fade away. We love you. Rest in Peace.
