It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Michele Di Lonardo, who passed away on November 5th, 2021 at the age of 57. He went peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.
He will be missed by his wife Rita, his daughters Sabrina and Alissia, his mother Lucia, his brother Carmelo and his wife Lina, as well as his brother-in-laws Angelo (Rosa), Pino (Mary), Gino, his sister-in-laws Cathy and Anna, as well as his nieces and nephews.
He will forever be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh, his generosity, and his giant heart.

The funeral will take place on November 13, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Mont Carmel church (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Leonard QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Le Repos St.Francois D`Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke Est, Montreal QC H1N 1C7)

Hello Rita,
It has been years since we worked together at La Senza, yet you’ve known me and my mother for over a decade!
This is why my heart completely goes out to you, your daughters, and the remainder of the family for the events you are currently facing. I unfortunately yet compassionately can relate to what your daughters are feeling as I experienced the same this fall. Acceptance will come but until then, feel the emotions that arise. No one shall experience these moments similarly and that’s alright. Carve time out for you, in order to find the strength to pursue and ground yourself. Although it might seem selfish, it will allow you to overcome this devastating hardship.
Hopefully, the love, consideration, empathy, and understanding I send your way will provide you with some solace. Big virtual hug paired with a luscious box of soft facial tissues.
