It is with extreme and profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Martina Borrelli on November 30th, 2022, at age 20. Beloved daughter of Sergio Borrelli and Lucia Orfeo. Best friend and sister to Stefano Borrelli. She leaves behind her loving grandparents, Rosetta Orfeo, predeceased by her grandfather Girolamo Orfeo, Sabato and Francesca Borrelli, aunts, and uncles: Salvatore Orfeo and Antonella Veneziale, Gloria Borrelli and Francesco Caporicci, cousins: Vanessa, Rebecca, Massimo, Gabriella, and Matteo, as well as many close family members and countless friends. Martina was a devoted dog mom to Mylo and cat mom to Prince. She loved them fiercely with all her heart and her best days were usually spent with them and family. Family was her number one priority.Martina had a passion for arts and music. She was an honour roll student at Dawson college in the Cinema and Communications program, loved by all her teachers and peers. She had hidden musical talents and she taught herself how to play the ukulele, classical and electrical guitar, piano and she had the voice of an angel. Martina was the most selfless, generous, and kind-hearted soul you would have ever met. Her last generous and most selfless act is when Martina gave the ultimate gift of life and saved five lives.

There are no words to express our extreme sadness & pain for the loss of your child, Martina. We had the pleasure of meeting her early on because our child Katelyn became quick friends in elementary school. Martina is just simply a really, really good girl though, and through. She will always be remembered as a great person with her fun, positive attitude, and kindness that she shared with everyone she met. We are more than lucky to have known her. We offer your family and friends our genuine condolences. I wish there was more we can say or do that would help with this difficult time.

We were all shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Martina – so young, so much ahead of her, talented and sweet…Only God knows the reason why he took her back so early. We used to see her often at Gloria’s house during get-togethers & holidays, always happy go-lucky, smiling, and having fun with all the cousins. She will now be her family’s guardian angel in Heaven. Her gift of life for 5 people is truly amazing. May Martina RIP in Heaven above, in God’s Love and Light.
