The funeral will take place on August 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense Church (6800 Henri Julien Ave, Montreal, Quebec H2S 2V4) followed by burial at Le Repos Saint-François d'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7)

Zia Maria was a confidant, mentor, and not just an aunt. Her memory inspires kindness, compassion, and love and her vintage desert recipes (chaulfles, struffle, pizelles) that she’d prepared for everyone to enjoy. She made everyone feel special. She will be greatly miss but knowing she is at peace and that her spirit lives on in our hearts. We will never forget her smile, laughter, and unwavering faith. Her Legacy will live forever.
Our deepest condolences from Teresa and Angelo to Liliana & Merinda and spouses and family on the passing of Zia Maria. She will live on in our memories forever.
Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the funeral services as we are out of the country at the moment. Our prayers and thoughts are with her.
