August 30, 1940 - March 2, 2021

AT CHSLD Vigi Laval, Giovanni Marabella, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 2, 2021 in his 80th year, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born on August 30, 1940 in Ribera, Sicily (Italy) to Giovanna Vaccaro and Paolo Marabella.

Giovanni is survived by his brothers Carmelo, Pietro (Pina) and Antonino; his two daughters, Giovanna (Paul) and Maria -Teresa (Anthony); and his son (Paolo), his grandchildren, Johnny, Deanna, Joey, Josie, Mia, Mara, Jessica and Eva; as well as his many nieces and nephews .; whom he loved and touched deeply.

In turn, he will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.

We thank the nurses and doctors of the CHSLD Vigi Santé Laval for their tremendous support and their patience.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinsons Canada would be appreciated.

Due to the circumstances caused by the pandemic, the funeral rituals will be celebrated in the privacy of the immediate family and by invitation only.
