It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco Mercuri on October 9, 2022 at the age of 87. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be remembered for countless ways he was there for others and the joy and humor felt in his presence. Francesco lived for his family and was loved and cherished by many.
He will be remembered by his loving wife Veneranda Mercuri and his children Maria and Luciano (Catherine). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Melissa (Sandro), Vanessa (Josh), Patrick, Luca Francesco and Ciara and his great grandchildren Remo and Winston Franco.
Place of funeral
The funeral will take place on October 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Notre-Dame Du Mont Carmel Church (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Le Repos Saint-François d'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7)

My deepest condolences to everyone who knew him. He was an incredible individual and because of him today he has a beautiful extended family.

Franco was sweetness personified – we are grateful for his long life & all the goodness & love he bestowed on his cherished loved ones. We are blessed that the youngest great grandchild had the honor of meeting him & we will be sure to keep his memory alive for Winston Franco.
