It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Emanuele Gracioppo. Beloved husband of 66 years to Giovanna Fuizzotto. He will be deeply missed by his children, Josie (Pietro), Liboria (John) and Santo (Agnes), his 8 grandchildren, and his 10 great grandchildren. Devoted businessman and founder of Standa department store.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fondation HMR or Fondation Société de Soins Palliatifs à Domicile.

Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on December 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Pompei (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6) followed by burial at Le Repos St.Francois D`Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke Est, Montreal QC H1N 1C7)

  13. Very sad and hearts broken today hearing about the loss of a great man.
    He was very kind, patient, respectful and courteous to anyone who walked into his store whether you were a child or an adult and if you were a newly italian immigrant arriving into this country Standa was the go to store and Emanuele was always there to greet you with a smile & heart of gold.
    He will be immensely missed by the Italian Community.
