May 9, 1946 - March 17, 2018

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Domenico Panetta husband of Anna Di Mauro.Other than his wife he leaves to mourn his children Antonio(Suzzy), Raffaele(Vanessa), David(Jesica), Daniel(Heidi) and Jonathan, his grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Domenico Salvatore Panetta’s name to the Jewish General Hospital. The family will be accepting donations Friday at the ceremony at the church.

Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on March 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Our Lady of Pompei church (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6)

  3. Mon Oncle, Mon Ziu Mimmi quand je pense à toi je te vois tout le temps avec le sourire! Je te vois comme une personne qui voulait être en symbiose d’une part avec ta merveilleuse famille et d’autre part avec ta terre. Quel courage! La dernière fois que je t’ai parlé je t’ai dit “Mon Tonton, mon livreur de croissant préféré” car nous avions le privilège tous les matins dans notre belle Calabre d’ouvrir la fenêtre et sur le bord d’y voir des bons croissants que tu nous déposais très tôt alors que Richard Lucie et moi-même étions encore dans les bras de morphée. Quelle gentillesse mon Oncle ! Maintenant tu es près de tes parents, grands-parents, Zio Nicodemo et mon frère. Repose en paix dans la lumière Zio. Zia Anna je pense très fort à toi aussi et à tous mes cousins, épouses, petits enfants. Il n’y a pas de mots pour soulager la perte de mon Ziu Mimmi, beaucoup de souvenirs resteront ancrés dans ma mémoire, les années défilent si vite… Tu es maintenant proche de tes parents, de ton frère, de mon frère et de toutes les personnes que tu as connu.
