It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother, Caterina Farruggia. Born in Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily to Pietro and Giovanna, she leaves behind her husband Giuseppe Catalano, her loving children, Liboria (Leonardo) and Giovanna (Gary). Her grandchildren, Angela (Raymond), Jason (Carmel), Anthony (Jo-Anna) and great-grandchildren, Milena, Ella, Leah, Max and Joseph gave her such pride, joy and comfort during her lifetime. She also cherished her role as a sister to brothers Battista (Francesca) and dearly missed Giuseppe (Caterina).
The family wishes to express our thanks to the brave caregivers at CHSLD St. Michel (first floor)for their tender care throughout her stay and during her final days. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made directly to the residence in her name.
The family will receive condolences at Complexe Funeraire Loreto on August 22, 2023 between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and on August 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
