April 4, 1930 - December 2, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Carmela Doganieri Granitto on December 2, 2022, at the age of 92. 

Predeceased by her husband Antonio Granitto, she leaves behind her children Lina (Luigi) and Giuliano (Rosie), her much adored grandchildren, Dino (Josie), Ricky (Shafia), and Julia (Joey), and her precious great-grandchildren, Nathan, Liana, Jayden, and Jasmine.  

Visitations will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 9:00am to 10:30am at Complexe Funeraire Loreto (4975 Boul. des Grandes-Prairies, St-Leonard, QC H1R 1A5). 

The funeral will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Mission Maria Ausiliatrice (8550 Av. Joliot-Curie, Montreal, QC H1E 4C3) followed by the burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (4601 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7).


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on December 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Marie-Auxiliatrice Church (8555, Maurice-Duplessis Street, Montreal (Qc) H1E 4C3) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, Quebec H3V 1E7)

  4. We spent so many years together, it’s as if I were losing a mom, a sister and a great friend. I know you’re supposed to “rest in peace”, but knowing you, you will always keep an eye on your loved ones and make sure they have the strength to go through life enjoying every minute of it, although you will be dearly missed. Goodbye my friend, with all my love.
