Bruno Sgro

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Bruno Sgro on January 27^th 2018 in his ninety-eighth year.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Ida née Reda and his devoted children Sam (Teresa) and Marisa (Andre).  He was the proud and loving nonno of Marco, Jules, Sabrina, Lucas and Gregory.

He also leaves to mourn his sister Angelica, nephews and nieces and many friends and family whose lives he touched here, as well as in the United States and Italy.

Born in the village of Fossato in Calabria, Italy he immigrated to Canada in 1951.

A hard-working man from a modest background, dad loved the simple pleasures in life.

He enjoyed spending time in his garden, good food and good wine and especially being surrounded by his family.

We wish to express our thanks to the staff at the CHSLD St. Laurent for their compassionate care over the last several years.
