Angelo Infantino

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angelo Infantino at the age of 87. Angelo had a stroke March 1^st, 2020 and subsequently got to spend two weeks at home with his family. Those two weeks will be cherished by us forever. He is survived by his beloved wife Antonina, his children Franca (Alfonso), Salvatore (Evangelia) and Fabio, his grandchildren Salvatore, Lucangelo, Alessia, Victoria, Ariana and Angelo, his siblings and many loved ones.

Angelo was born in Joppolo Giancaxio, Sicily, and was the third eldest of nine siblings. He immigrated to Montreal, where he proudly worked until his early eighties. Through his hard work and generosity he always provided for his family. 

He was a humble and simple man who always took pleasure in the little things life had to offer – being happiest when surrounded by his family for dinner, talking with friends or gardening. His grandchildren will remember him by his constant reminiscing and storytelling while playing cards.  Memories which they will forever treasure. When reminiscing, he always mentioned loved ones who passed away who he missed dearly, and it gives his family great peace to know that he is now with them, watching over us.

Due to the current circumstances, a private ceremony for the immediate family will be held on June 4^th, 2020. A memorial service in his honour will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
