It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an incredible woman, Dora Amicone.
She leaves behind her parents Umberto & Antonietta Amicone, her mother-in-law Filomena Auriemma, her beloved husband of 32 years Franco, her four beautiful children, Joey(Anna), Ashley, Kevin, Brenda and her little princess granddaughter Aviana. She will be also deeply missed by her sister Niki, brothers, Joe, Johnny, Tony and Angelo and all her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
Dora enjoyed spending time with her family which was her entire world. Dora touched the lives of so many and she had a heart of gold.
Rest in peace beautiful angel. Forever in our hearts, we will always love you.
Dora was the most beautiful woman I have ever met. She was always ready to help anyone, be it teachers, her coworkers or the kids…. she loved the kids and they loved her. She always spoke so lovingly about her family, showing pictures or videos of her grand daughter on her phone. She had such a huge heart over flowing to everyone. We at Gardenview will miss her beyond words. I send you my most heartfelt co ndolesces and the strength to get through this most unbelievably agonizing time. Remember her smile, her laugh and her huge heart.

Dora was a true angel. A very warm and loving person. Every morning, she greeted me with a heartfelt welcome and a ‘have a good day!’ We talked every day. She was a Base monitor for some of my kids. She was the most sincere and compassionate person. I am devastated by this news. I’m in complete shock. I know this is of little comfort right now but your mom was very much loved by us all. She was a big part of our Gardenview family. She made everyone so happy. Our school will never be the same again. My most sincere condolences to you all😰😰😰💕💕💕💕💕

My son was under Madam Dora’s supervision at Gardenview’s BASE. And he always spoke about her with respect and love. Her depart would be a great loss, not only to her family but also to all the children under her care.
