Fortunato Mazzone, 91 ans, à Montréal le 5 mars 2021.

Il est né à Mammola, Reggio Calabria, Italie le 20 mai 1929. Ses parents étaient Maria Rosa Napoli et Domenico Antonio Mazzone. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Assunta Giarrusso, sa fille Rosemary (Enzo), ses fils Domenico et Dino (Rina), ses petits-enfants Jordan, Tatyana et Luca. Sœurs Caterina (Vincenzo), Carmelina (Vincenzo) et frère Cosimo (Francesca) ainsi que de nombreux beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, nièces et neveux, de nombreux parents et de nombreux amis. Précédé par les sœurs Annunziata et Angela, les frères Giuseppe, Nicodemo et Pasquale.

Fortunato a eu un impact profond sur ses amis et sa famille grâce à sa gentillesse incomparable et ses paroles sages. Son amour pour sa famille et pour la vie est allé au-delà de toute mesure. Fortunato était reconnu par tous comme une personne dotée d’une intégrité et d’un respect exceptionnels pour les autres. Il nous manquera beaucoup.

En raison des circonstances actuelles, un service privé sera organisé en son honneur.

Visite le mardi 9 mars 2021, sur invitation seulement, à la Maison funéraire Loreto située au 4975, boul. Des Grandes Prairies, Saint-Léonard. Services funéraires, sur invitation seulement, église du Mont Carmel, 7645 Dumans, Saint-Léonard. L’inhumation suivra à Saint-François d’Assise, 6893, rue Sherbrooke Est, Montréal.

Au lieu de fleurs, la famille apprécierait des dons à la Fondation Santa Cabrini.

We will forever remember Zio Fortunato for his kind and generous spirit. He always greeted us with his warm and welcoming smile. We hold dear the many times we were together at family occasions and visits to his home where he and Zia Assuntina were most welcoming and happy to see us. Zio Fortunato was a blessing in all our lives. He will be greatly missed, but affectionately remembered in our hearts forever.
