It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Mr. Bruno Martone on Sunday December 29, 2024, at the age of 65.
Beloved father of James (Marie-Eve), Bryan (Claudine), devoted grandfather of Jake, Kyna, Megan and Alyson;
He leaves this earth to join his parents Carlo Martone and Rosalia Amato as well as his sisters Diane (née Onelia) and Patrizia.
He is survived by his siblings; Giuseppina (Pasquale), Mario (Anna), Laura (late Aldo Ranaldi), Liliana, Lelio (Marie-Aline), Lydia, Aldo (Lorena), Gino, Giovanna (Marcel ) and Emilia (Samir); his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be sadly missed by all whom he loved and touched so deeply. His legacy was that of resilience in the face of many adversities. Bruno fought a long courageous battle and he will continue to be a hero in our hearts.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Intensive Care Unit staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their optimum care and compassion.
