It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Mr. Bruno Martone on Sunday December 29, 2024, at the age of 65.
Beloved father of James (Marie-Eve), Bryan (Claudine), devoted grandfather of Jake, Kyna, Megan and Alyson;
He leaves this earth to join his parents Carlo Martone and Rosalia Amato as well as his sisters Diane (née Onelia) and Patrizia.
He is survived by his siblings; Giuseppina (Pasquale), Mario (Anna), Laura (late Aldo Ranaldi), Liliana, Lelio (Marie-Aline), Lydia, Aldo (Lorena), Gino, Giovanna (Marcel ) and Emilia (Samir); his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be sadly missed by all whom he loved and touched so deeply. His legacy was that of resilience in the face of many adversities. Bruno fought a long courageous battle and he will continue to be a hero in our hearts.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Intensive Care Unit staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their optimum care and compassion.

I regret that I could not have been there in person to share your grief, but know that Bruno has been in my prayers ever since I heard of his passing. He was such a gentle soul who I always appreciated seeing from time to time. He will be missed.

I met Bruno through my sister Norah, more than just a couple of years ago. I invited him over with Norah for a summer BBQ, drinks, and karaoke. Bruno belted out “Bad, bad, Leroy Brown” it was a fun night.
My sincerest and deepest sympathies go out to Bruno’s extended family and friends. Pull strength from the love of your family and your friends.
Well Bruno…. you fought this battle with dignity, strength, like a real trooper,
and for a long time. It is your time to rest now. We are all praying for you.

Accept my sincere sympathy.. it is hard to loose a loved one, specially somebody so loving and kind like Bruno, who I have a chance to meet him a month before he left us.
I share your loss and grief because I know how painful it is to loose a brother and a loved one.. I lost mine at 32 year old.
I pray God to give you courage to go through this difficult time and May our dear Bruno rest in Peace.. no more pain and no difficult treatments.. God 🙏🙏bless him

As a friend of Bruno’s sister Lydia I got to meet Bruno five or six times, He was a kind gentle soul always laughing and smiling and a pleasure to be around I am sure he will be sorely missed and I offer my deepest condolences to his family
