It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gaetano Marziatico beloved husband of Iolanda Spinelli on July 11, 2025, at the age of 79.
Other than his wife, he leaves to mourn his children; Paolo (Virginia), Pietro (Pina), & Assuntina (Tony) as well as his grandchildren; Anthony (Julia), Kayla (Yiannis), Paolo Jr (Sophia), Massimo, Alessandro, Juliana, Stefano, Sara, & Victor as well as many other family and friends.

We are heartbroken to hear of Gaetano’s passing. Though we are in Europe and deeply regret not being able to attend the services, our thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. Gaetano welcomed us to Canada with open arms and open heart, treating us like his own children from the moment we met. He welcomed our boys, Roman and Edgar, always making them feel loved and cherished, and part of his family. His friendship was a pillar of support for so many years, and we will forever treasure the memories we shared. The best restaurant in Montreal, according to our boys, was Nonno Gaetano and Nonna Iolanda, that is so true! He was a truly special man who touched our lives, and so many others, with his kindness and generosity.
