En raison des restrictions covid, une visite privée aura lieu pour la famille immédiate uniquement. La famille tient à vous offrir ses sentiments les plus sincères.

As the accountant of the neighbouring Polish CHSLD I would like to say a few words about our cherished coĺleague. Gaetano « Gates » distinguished career at Ospedale Santa Cabrini began in 1989 at the age of 20 as a PAB for 18 years. Then he worked in the Building Maintenance Department for 15 years. Known as the Gardner who kept the
gardens in immaculate condition. Gaetano’s Gardens are the Jewel of the Hospital’s grounds. Gates treated Santa Cabrini like his own home , serving with love, loyalty, passion,dedication and devotion. The same way as a beloved Son, Husband and Father. A Man with glowing magnetism and aura who has built a legacy and dynasty in Team Gates. Like many I have the kindest adjectives and superlatives for a Man who served his entire healthcare career for the Italian and Montreal community.I feel a great sense of loss -as if I lost my own brother. A tremenduous all-around human being who will continue to inspire us by remembering Him which will be natural as He is unforgettable.

Terry, I am so very saddened to learn of your husband’s passing. It seems like only yesterday we were in front of your house celebrating the kids’ grad and Gaetano handing out the bubbly to all of us, it’s hard to believe he is now gone. There are few words anyone can say at times like these to take away the pain of losing a loved one; wishing you, Peter and Alessia much courage and strength to live through this time of loss.
