Tony was my first gen Cuz and his parents and mine were very close – thus he and I hung out plenty. He loved his sports – followed the NFL/CFL and Hockey meticulously. With multiple University degrees and his tri-lingual skills and super good looks -Tony sure radiated total Class! He was blessed with two wonderful, beautiful Ladies Louise and Lola, with the latter giving him two impressive sons! I remember Tony and I organized a 50 people gathering of all the Iacobaccio generations back in about 2010. Visited him in Florida and retirement Piedmont – conversely he visited me in Barrie Ontario.
You will be missed my dear friend – thanks for the years of daily jokes that made many smile Sir.
Chère Louise, enfants et à toute la famille et amis de Tony,
Je suis sincèrement attristée, peinée et vraiment désolée d’avoir appris cette triste nouvelle.
Sachez que je comprends et partage votre grande peine ainsi que votre profonde douleur en pensant à vous tous, dans ces moments très pénibles. Vous avez toute ma sympathie et je vous offre mes plus sincères condoléances.
On dit et je crois aussi que ceux qu’on a aimés qui nous quittent ne disparaissent vraiment jamais, leur esprit, reste toujours là avec nous.
Je prie pour vous tous afin que vous ayez la force et le courage pour passer à travers ce moment très difficile

Very sad to hear about the passing of Mr Iacobaccio. He was my 5th grade teacher Still have memories of him. He had a profound effect on me as a 10 or 11 year child by always aiming for higher goals He was my teacher ,mentor , and big brother. If I remember correctly he was around 21 years old and got his first teaching position

I recently lost my youngest brother and now I have lost another brother. I will miss our regular conversations with Tony. I know he suffered immensely, and i am happy that it’s over for him and sad for us, who are left behind. Love you brother and we shall meet again. Rest in peace.
