Mr. Celestino Montagano, husband of Mrs. Pina Montagano, passed away peacefully in Montreal on November 9, 2025, at the age of 89.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to mourn his sons Vincenzo, and Marco and daughter Giovanna (Raymond), his grandchildren, Megan (Rafi), Erica, Jamie and Laurent (Geneviève) and great grandson Oceano, his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, as well as many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday November 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Loreto Complex, 4975 des Grandes Prairies boulevard, Saint-Léonard, 514 325-3535.
The church ceremony will be celebrated on Thursday November 13 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 2875 Sauvé east, Montreal followed by entombment in Repost St-François d’Assise cemetery at 3 p.m.

E` stato per me un onore a fare la conoscenza di Celestino è stato lui a farmi conoscere meglio il mio retaggio ripese. Lui sempre dava luce alla mia vita scura. Adesso ho perduto quella luce in questa vita smarrita.
