I learned of Maria’s death a few months ago. I am Uncle Baldassarre, Maria’s father’s brother, and the only uncle left alive. I’m sorry because I remember her as a little girl. I would like more information about her and to be put in touch with anyone who knew her, because I live in Italy and because of my age I can’t travel to Canada. Thank you.
I’ll miss Maria’s great sense of humour and her reverberating laugh which filled any room she was in. Also the ease by which she switched between English and French ( including the joual) always really impressed me. Rest easy my friend.
