After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Franca Cortina Triassi, daughter of Vittoria Di Vincenzi and Armando Cortina, on Monday May 03, 2021 at the age of 70. She leaves behind her beloved husband and soulmate, Pietro Triassi, and her four children Josie, Vicky (Darren Carmosino), Rita (Vince Farruggia ) & Paolo (Sabrina Samaroo). She also leaves behind her six grandchildren Victoria, Michael, Olivia, Julia, Daniela & Pietro who she immensely adored. In addition, she leaves behind her sister, Anna (Antonio Iaboni), her sister-in-laws Rita (Antonino Rizzuto ) and Stella (Jack Triassi), along with all her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.
She will always be remembered for her incredible energy and strength. She was very kind-hearted and would instantly treat anyone she ever met as family. She leaves a huge void in the lives of all who knew her, but her beautiful smile and spirit will live on in our memories forever. ❤️

Due to the Covid19 pandemic and for the sake of safety, the family has decided to maintain a private viewing, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt sentiments to you.
