The funeral mass will take place on September 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Le Repos Saint-François d'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7)

Greg and I send our deepest condolences. Our hearts go out to the entire family during this difficult time.
We have so many wonderful memories with Rita, especially the many times we shared in Toronto and Montreal—cooking, eating, and celebrating together. Her joyful spirit was contagious, and she always brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. Rita’s smile and kind words had a way of lifting everyone around her. She will be deeply missed.
May you all find comfort in the love and memories you shared, and may Rita’s soul rest in peace.
During the difficult days ahead I will be sending blessings and praying for you to find some comfort and peace. I can’t begin to tell you how dear Rita was to me and how much I will miss her. I was thinking back today on all the great times we shared, at the cottage making pizza in the outdoor oven and at Mont-Tremblant. Keeping these memories alive in my heart I will always remember the amazing woman she was.

Pat and I are deeply saddened to hear of Rita’s Passing.
Rita was an amazing person always positive, warm with a BIG heart and a ready smile.
We loved the times we spent together and so enjoyed our phone conversations.
There are special people in our lives who never leave us, even after they are gone, we
will forever miss Rita.

Dear Frezza, Colitti, and Canzona Families,
Norm & I are so deeply heartbroken to hear about our cousin Rita. She was such and amazing, strong, courageous and kind person. The love she had for her family could be seen in everything she did. She always treated us like family, that’s for sure! When we were younger we had many trips to Montreal. She would make amazing feasts of food and make us feel so welcome and at home. Natale would take us everywhere and anywhere to make sure we had a fun time and enjoyed ourselves. There was so much love, I will always remember and cherish those memories of our trips to Montreal. All of my family but, especially my mom and dad thought the WORLD of them both. Rita will be greatly missed but, she is with her loving husband Natale now.
