Antonio Bertone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Antonio Bertone. Antonio passed away on August 22, 2021 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His firm belief in God and his devotion to his family supported him through his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Antonio was born to the late Michele and Gina Bertone,who immigrated to Canada to provide their children with a better life.  His parents taught him the value of hard work. Antonio  underwent his education in Canada and  worked until the age of 71.

Antonio  was a humble man who loved to spend time with his grandchildren and always had a treat or a toy in his hand for them because  he loved to see them smile. He was kind and soft-spoken and always had time for his family. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with the Lord.

Antonio is survived by his family, Pasqua his children Mike, Antonio (Karen) Gino (Maria) and Santina (Adam); his grandchildren Chloe and Juliano, Sophia and Konstantina, Dylan and Katelyn, his siblings brother, Domenic (Antoinette) and sister Maria (Tony) sister-in-law Christina (late Rocco) . Also survived by many nieces and nephews.;

Visitation will be held at Loreto Funeral Home (4975 Blvd des Grandes-Prairies, Saint-Léonard, QC H1R 1A5) on August 30, 2021.

A funeral service will follow  at 12:30 PM at Church of Our Lady of Pompei (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7) at 2:45 p.m.
