Dearest wife of the late Vincenzo Marcovecchio for over 73 years, and beloved mother of Costantino (Bogumila), and grandmother of Vincenzo Kazimierz (Tamera). She’s also survived by her sister-in-law Gemma, brother-in-law Giuseppe (Romilda) and Comara Giuglia (sons Tony and Roberto). She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews in Canada: Franca (Italo), Dominic (Maria), Elvira, Diglia, Elio, Pino,Tony, Angelina, Nobile, Lucia, Salvatore, Luigi, Imola and her nieces and nephews in Italy: Fiorina, Costantino, Lina, Bruna (Mario), Antonio, Anna, Adriana, Pino, Loredana, and Rita as well as her many cousins, extended family and friends.
Place of funeral
The funeral mass will take place on October 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Pompei (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6) followed by burial at Repos St-François d'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7)

We are so deaply sorry for your loss. We will always remember Zia as the life of the party. She was a loving and caring person. She was full of life with so much energy. Nothing could stop her. From cooking, baking and her love of gardening. She had tremendous love for her family and thats what has kept her going for so long. She will remain forever dear to our heart.
