Filomena Conte Gattola

It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Filomena Conte Gattola, beloved wife of the late Salvatore Gattola, November 30, 2025, at the age of 90.

She leaves behind her four children: Filippo, Maria (Tony), Fernando (Nancy), Vittoria (Attilio). She will be fondly missed by her precious grandchildren: Christopher, Alicia, Gabriel and Yanni, as well as many other family members and friends.

Filomena was known for being hard working and deeply devoted to her family. She was regarded as the keeper of traditions and fortified family ties ensuring her one cardinal rule — to love one another always. This together with resilience, faith and generosity make up who she was, what she valued the most, and the legacy she has built.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memoriam to L’Institut de cardiologie de Montréal would be greatly appreciated.
