Quirico Zizzi – Dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend – passed away on Thursday March 23, 2023.
Quirico immigrated to Canada at the age of 17 and lived with his brother Giovanni and sister-in-law Anna. He fell in love with his wife-to-be, Vincenza and they married in June 1963. Together they raised their children Antonietta and Pasquale with love and guidance. He absolutely adored and spoiled his grandsons Dereck-Alexandre and Matteo.
Quirico was an artist with plaster and his creations adorn many Montreal homes. He was a master in gardening and wine-making. He was also a wonderful friend who never refused to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife Vincenza; their children Antonietta (Réal), Pasquale (Alexandra); his grandsons Dereck-Alexandre and Matteo; sisters Angela and Caterina; as well as sisters-in-law Lucia and Anna.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring staff of l’Institut de Cardiologie and Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. Please consider a donation to either hospital in lieu of flowers.

It is with great sadness that I have learned of Mr. Guido’s passing .
He was a great neighbor .
I will miss our talks through the fence , his words of wisdom and his perfect tomatoes .
