With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Giovanna Piazza Scalia, wife of the late Pietro Scalia, who passed away at the age of 92.
She lived a long and meaningful life and will be remembered for her kindness, strength and deep love for her family.
She is survived by her children, Vito (Maria), Pierina (Angelo), her grandchildren Peter (Sarah), Jenna (Karl), Emilio and Eliana, and her great-grandchildren Vito,Amelia , Charles, Nicholas and Niles, all of whom brought her great joy and pride.
Place of funeral
The funeral mass will take place on March 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Mont Carmel (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery (4601 Chem. de la Cote-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7)
