February 27, 1924 - June 19, 2025
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Carmelina Zappitelli Evangelista, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother
 at the remarkable age of 101.   She is now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Addolorato Evangelista. 
 
Carmelina will be deeply missed by her loving children Cristina (Pietro), Dora and Tony, her cherished grandchildren Nadia (Mario), Diana (Paolo), Pat (Laura),
 Patricia (Leo), Cynthia (Danny), Davide (Dania), Erica (Mario), and her beloved great-grandchildren Julian, Liana, Matthew, Emma, Sara, Marco, 
Massimiliano, Jacob, Olivia, and Gianluca.
 
Carmelina is also survived by her dear sister Onorina, sister-in-law Maria (Giuseppe) and brother-in-law Alberto (Rosina), as well as many  
nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
 
Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be remembered always.

Place of funeral

The funeral mass will take place on June 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mont Carmel (7645 Rue du Mans, St.Leonard, QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Le Repos St.Francois D'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke E, Montreal QC H1N 1C7)
