In Loving Memory of Rocco Antonio Morabito (August 29, 1937 – January 12, 2026)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rocco Antonio Morabito, who left us peacefully on January 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Rocco was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elisa Salerno, and their three children: Cathy (Amir), Giovanni (Deborah), and Elena (Pat). Rocco was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren: Anthony, Laura, Alex, Rocco, Domenico, Gianni, and Giuliano.
He leaves behind his brother Enzo, sister Rosetta, as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him fondly.
Rocco touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity. He will be remembered for his strong family values, his passion for life, and the love he shared with those around him.
A special thank you to Dr. Chantal Lafond, Dr. Bich Nguyen, and Nurse Cathy Queva from Sacre Coeur Hospital, as well as the staff of Marie Clarac Palliative Care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Paroisse St. Joseph, 10000 Gouin Est, in his memory.
Rocco Antonio Morabito will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Place of funeral
The funeral mass will take place on January 19, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Complexe Funeraire Loreto (4975 bl des Grandes Prairies St.Leonard QC H1R 1A5) followed by burial at Le Repos St.Francois D'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke E, Montreal QC H1N 1C7)
