It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mr. Leonardo Scalia beloved husband of the late Gaetana Ferraro on April 12, 2025, at the age of 99.
He leaves to mourn his children; Enza, Leo, & Joe, and his grandchildren; Danika, Alexis, Tanina, Kyrie, Leeland, & Anthony. He will be fondly missed by his precious great-grandchildren: Elara, Estelle, Zhoe, Sasha, & Gabriel as well as many other family and friends.
Place of funeral
The funeral mass will take place on May 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Complexe Funéraire Loreto (4975 boul. des Grandes Prairies, St-Léonard, QC, H1R 1A5) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7)

To all the Scalia family: Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your father.
I will always remember Zio Nardo. He never failed to leave an impression. My mother was very fond of him as she was of all of her siblings. With her dementia, my mother is often living in her past, her happy youth in Sicily with her family. When I show her old family pictures of Sicily, she lights up and relives those joyful moments. She mostly forgets all the names but she still remembers her brother Nardo. He certainly left his impression. On behalf of my family I offer sincerest condolences to Leo, Enza, Joe, and all the Scalia family. “Partecipiamo al vostro lutto”
