It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanna Zambito-Bordonaro, beloved Mom, Nonna and Nonnina has passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at the age of 94.
She will forever be cherished by her four children Maria (Rocco), Giuseppina, Alessandro (Dawn) and Anna (Carlo); loved by her 10 grand children Giuseppe, Antonio, Loredana (Jason), Rosanna (Joel), Melanie, Giovanna B., Antonio, Saverio (Stephanie), Francesca (Junior) and Giovanna P. (Nicholas) as well as adored by her 9 great grandchildren Chloe, Noah, Matteo, Rebecca, Elisabeth, Saverio, Amya, Eva and Olivia.
We draw comfort in knowing that she is now with her departed husband Antonino Bordonaro, her first-born daughter Anna, her parents Maria and Cosimo, her brother Giuseppe and her son-in-law Daniel.
An intimate celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 15th, 2021.
If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
