Francesco Papalia

January 7, 1939 - May 1, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Francesco Papalia, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the age of 86.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Giuseppa; his children, Carmelina (Farah), Domenica (Antonio), and Anthony; and his cherished grandchildren, Vincenzo, Antonio Jr., Alexandra, Emile, Gloria, and Nora. He is also survived by his sister Grazia, his brother Vincenzo (Domenica), and his sister Maria (Antonino). Francesco will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A pioneer of the family, Francesco paved the way to a new life full of promise in Canada. He was a pillar of strength and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather—his unwavering love and guidance will remain with us always.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of the family he held so dear.
