E’ mancato all’affetto dei suoi cari Pietro Pecora, un uomo di carattere eccezionale nato 94 anni fa a Cosenza, in Italia, serenamente spento a casa circondato dalla sua famiglia dopo una coraggiosa lotta con il Parkinson. Ne danno il tristissimo annuncio la sua cara e addolorata moglie Elvira Alberelli e le suoi figlie Anna (Tony), Assunta (John), Pina (Bruno) e Linda (Robert). Padre, nonno e bisnonno affettuoso e devoto, mancherà molto ai suoi adorati nipoti Robert (Rosanna), Melissa (Arturo), Stephanie (Roberto), Michael, Nadia, Elana e Alyssa (José) ed ai suoi adoratissimi pronipoti Ariana, Sofia, Eva e Lea. Mancherà molto alle sue sorelle Maria, Lidia ed Elvira, al suo fratello Mario (Silvia) ed a tutti i suoi nipoti, la sua famiglia allargata ed amici.
Uomo di poche parole, la sua personalità premurosa e la sua bontà e gentillezza hanno toccato tutti coloro che lo hanno conosciuto nel camino della sua vita. E’ sempre stato molto dedito, un grande lavoratore ed orgoglioso di un lavoro ben fatto, e la sua grande umanità fu accompagnata dal desiderio di assistere chiunque era in bisogno di aiuto. Sopratutto, si preoccupava del equità e giustizia ai confronti di tutti. La sua famiglia è sempre stata al centro della sua vita e ha apprezatto con il suo sorriso radioso ogni momento passato con loro. Siamo stati fortunati di averlo come padre, nonno e bisnonno, e siamo consapevoli che sarà sempre il nostro angelo custode che veglierà su di noi.
La famiglia rigrazia particolarmente le badanti Lourdes, Miriam, Amy e Dhouchelle per la loro gentilezza e per le cure amorevoli quotidiane ai confronti del nostro padre.
Anziché fiori vi preghiamo di devolvere in sua memoria una donazione alla Parkinson Society.
