Fortunato Mazzone, 91 anni, a Montreal il 5 marzo 2021.
Era nato a Mammola, Reggio Calabria, Italia, il 20 maggio 1929. I suoi genitori erano Maria Rosa Napoli e Domenico Antonio Mazzone.
Gli lascia la moglie, Assunta Giarrusso, la figlia Rosemary (Enzo), i figli Domenico e Dino (Rina), i nipoti Jordan, Tatyana e Luca. Suor Caterina (Vincenzo), Carmelina (Vincenzo) e fratello Cosimo (Francesca) oltre a tanti cognati e cognate, nipoti, tanti parenti e numerosi amici. Preceduta dalle sorelle Annunziata e Angela, dai fratelli Giuseppe, Nicodemo e Pasquale. Fortunato ha avuto un profondo impatto sui suoi amici e sulla sua famiglia attraverso la sua gentilezza senza pari e le sue sagge parole.
Il suo amore per la sua famiglia e per la vita è andato oltre misura. Fortunato è stato riconosciuto da tutti come una persona dotata di eccezionale integrità e rispetto per gli altri. Egli ci mancherà molto.
A causa delle circostanze attuali, si terrà un servizio privato in suo onore.
Visita martedì 9 marzo 2021, solo su invito, presso l’ufficio funerario di Loreto situato in 4975 Blvd. Des Grandes Prairies, San Leonardo. Servizi funebri, solo su invito, Mont Carmel Church, 7645 Dumans, St. Leonard. Seguirà la sepoltura a St. Francois D’Assise, 6893 Sherbrooke St. East, Montreal.
Al posto dei fiori, la famiglia apprezzerebbe le donazioni alla Fondazione Santa Cabrini.

Dear Zia Assuntina, Rosalba, Enzo, Domenic, Dino, Rina, Jordan, Tatyana, and Luca, our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your dear husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. We will forever remember Zio Fortunato for his kind and generous spirit. He always greeted us with his warm and welcoming smile. We hold dear the many times we were together at family occasions and visits to his home where he and Zia Assuntina were most welcoming and happy to see us. Zio Fortunato was a blessing in all our lives. He will be greatly missed, but affectionately remembered in our hearts forever.
