È con il cuore pesante che annunciamo la scomparsa di Lucia Iacovelli – amata moglie, madre e zia.

Lucia Iacovelli si è spenta il 25 aprile 2022 all’età di 62 anni dopo una coraggiosa battaglia contro il cancro, nella sua casa di Montreal circondata dal marito Ted Ardelli e dai suoi figli Jared e Alicia.

Chi l’ha conosciuta la ricorderà come una persona coraggiosa e generosa con un grande cuore che ha sempre messo i bisogni degli altri prima dei suoi. La sua gentilezza, generosità e calore saranno portati avanti attraverso la sua memoria.

È premorta dai genitori Angela Taldone e Giuseppe Iacovelli. Lascia suo fratello Antonio (Ester), sua sorella Michelina (Tony) e innumerevoli familiari e amici.

Un ringraziamento speciale agli infermieri e ai medici del CLSC, della Palliative Home-Care Society of Greater Montreal e del Cedars Cancer Center.

Al posto dei fiori, la famiglia apprezzerebbe le donazioni alla Cedars Cancer Foundation.


Luogo di funerali

Il funerale avrà luogo il 2 Maggio 2022 alle 13:00 presso Chiesa Marie-Auxiliatrice (8555 Bd Maurice-Duplessis, Montréal, QC H1E 4H7), seguito dalla sepoltura in cimitero Notre Dame des Neiges (4601 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7)

  1. I’ve known her son Jared since high school, we were friends since then. I extend my condolences for the passing of your mom. Although I have not had the chance to meet her, I imagine she was a caring, loving mother for you and your sister, and was a wonderful person between the relatives. Her battle with cancer was commendable, given the difficulties it brings. May God bless her and may she have a peaceful time for eternity in heaven.

  3. It is with a heavy heart that I learn the passing of Lucia. Lucia was great coworker and someone I will miss dearly. My sincerest condolences the entire family.     It is with a heavy heart that I learn of your untimely passing. You were a great coworker at Regent Industries (Annabelle & Caroline Cosmetics) & my subsequent Supervisor at our time at Groupe Marcelle on Rachel Street. You were always pleasant to work with and I will never forget about that. We confided in each other and shared a special bond.     Worked with Lucia many years ago at Annabelle and always remember her as a very patient, kind and lovely lady, who had a good word for everybody around.
    Very sad to hear such sad news. Can only imagine how much she will be missed.
