Giuseppe Bentivegna

Giuseppe Bentivegna

3 Agosto 1945 - 13 Gennaio 2023

With a heavy heart and great sadness that we would like to announce that Giuseppe Bentivegna passed away on January 13, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Filippa of 54 years, his children, Giuseppina, Angelina (spouse Gary), and Antonino (spouse Sara) and grandfather to Brady, Evan and Tyler.  He was the hardest working man who ever walked the face of the earth that we  have ever known or will ever meet who would do anything for anyone at a drop of a hat. He loved his family and was a great provider.  We’ll miss his laugh and the funny way he made us laugh.

  1. … in this matrix called life, I, we, had the privilege to share many quality & repeat moments throughout the span of serval decades. From as early as i can remember, fond celebrations with an abundance to feast all while screaming “tombola”, endless weekends of raw milk cheese making amalgamating into late night bonfires at Lacolle, and most recently, precious moments in Miami Beach.
Zu Pepe’s curiosity on life and open minded ability to listen was an extremely rare trait, only found in a few very special men…

This is the essence of life and it forever lives amongst us, no matter the physical state…

  2. Our deepest condolences to the whole family ❤️🙏. I could only remember, What a beautiful person he was, especially put up with Tony and myself as teenagers being pains in the butt… 🤗 but always having an open door for us no matter what.
    Paolo Catania & Family ❤️🙏🤗

  3. We only have good memories of Giuseppe, in the countryside and at Liboria’s house, he was always very affective and generous with us. We really regret his departure but, we are sure he already enjoys the Kingdom of Heaven.
All our love, Filippa, Josie, Angelina and family.

  4. It’s sad to know that my dear Zio Peppe is no longer amongst us in the physical form. He always made me feel so good and gave me hope that even amongst the craziness of everything Catolica, there could be some sanity, ironically. My sincere love, blessings and condolences to his closest family, for I know it is likely not an easy transition to accept.

  5. My deepest condolences my dearest cousin Filippa and all the family. My love, thought and prayers are with you all 🙏🙏. Giuseppe was an amazing person , He new how to make everyone love him.
