È con il cuore pieno di tristezza che annunciamo la scomparsa della nostra amata Madre, Assunta Di Cunto (nata a San Clemente, Galluccio, in Italia, il 5 luglio 1934). Dopo una lunga e dolorosa lotta contro il cancro, si è serenamente spenta il 13 settembre 2018 al Trafalgar Memorial Hospital di Oakville circondata dall’affetto della sua devota famiglia. Amorevole moglie di Giuseppe Starnino con il quale ha condiviso 62 anni di matrimonio nella loro casa a Laval, Quebec. Assunta è stata la premurosa, amorevole e devota madre di Rosa(Pasquale Capparelli), Mario(Astrid Andren), Pina(Orlando Mazzuca), e Roberto(Linda Pecora). Adorata Nonna di Vanessa (Daniel), Stefania, Mario, Cassandra (Rajwinder), Louisia, Victoria, Philip, e Alyssa. Amata Nonnina di Claudia, Victor e Isabella. Ne sentiranno la profonda mancanza la sorella Caterina(D’Angelo) e in Italia il fratello Domenico, i nipoti, i parenti e gli amici. Assunta si ricongiungerà con la sua famiglia deceduta, il padre Mario Di Cunto, la mamma Evelina De Petrillo e il fratello Andimo Di Cunto.
