It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pietro Arcaro on Monday, September 23rd, 2019 at the age of 85. Survived by his loving wife Onorina and their three children Tony, Luisa (Damon), Dolores (Mario). Fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Peter (Sabina), John, Jennifer, Laura (Anthony), Anthony, Alex and his little sunshine and great-grandchild, Solaia. Also survived by his loving brother Nicola (Anna) and sister Maddalena (predeceased, Gaetano) and his many nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Tardif, the nursing staff and support workers at l’Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal. In lieu of flowers a donation to I’Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal would be greatly appreciated.


Lieu de funérailles

Les funérailles auront lieu le 27 septembre 2019 à 16:00 à Eglise Mont Carmel (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Leonard QC H1S 2A1), suivie par l'inhumation au cimetière Notre Dame des Neiges (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7)

  5. Dear family, our deepest condolences to all the family. I have fond memories of Pietro when we immigrated from Italy in 1952 as being one of the first families from S.Maria del Molise, my parents’ house was a gathering place for many of our friends and paisani. There are certain people who touch the lives of those they know in a unique way.
    Knowing they brings us joy and inspiration, and when they’re gone, memories of all they’ve done stay with us.. RIP Pietro with tender heart and prayers, Carmela Bertone Fascia e famiglia
