September 11, 1932 - July 26, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Gaetano Picillo on July 26, 2021.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Lina (nee Carmela Galluzzo), his children Margherita (Edward) and Giuseppe (Maria), and his grandchildren, Erica, Michael and Matthew, and his step-grandson, Aaron.  His siblings and their families, and other relatives and friends will also miss his smile, happy-go-lucky attitude and generous heart.

Visitation will be held at the Complexe Loreto funeral home, located at 4975 des Grandes-Prairies, St-Léonard, QC, H1R1A5, on Thursday July 29, from 6 to 9 pm and on Friday July 30, from 9 to 11 am.  Due to COVID restrictions and limitations, the mass service is also available for live viewing via pompeimontreal.org. Those attending the mass in person must confirm their presence with the family at their earliest convenience before Friday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Sacre Coeur Hospital Foundation (https://fondationhscm.org/) or Fondation Héma-Québec (https://fondation.hema-quebec.qc.ca/) would be appreciated.

The funeral will take place on July 30, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Church of Our Lady of Pompei (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6) followed by burial at Parc Du Souvenir Laval cemetery (2500 Avenue Des Perron , Laval , Quebec, H7J-1G2)
