Vincenzo Piccolo

November 9, 1931 – December 22, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Vincenzo Piccolo after having lived a long and prosperous life. He courageously embarked on a journey in 1968 immigrating to Canada from his long-loved country of Italy in hope of providing a better future for him and his family. He and his predeceased beloved wife, Laura DiLiddo took great pride in raising and providing for their family.  He will be greatly missed by his children, Tina (Vince), Lucrezia (Joe), Pina (Costa), Gabriele (Linda).

He was a doting grandfather to Vanessa, Stephania, Julien, Laura, Maggie, Jenna, and Eva and a great grandfather to Jace & Abby. He will be greatly missed by his youngest brother, Giacomino, his only living sibling.

His greatest pleasure was reminiscing about his youthful days in Italy surrounded by his family while sharing a Sunday lunch and homemade wine.

He was very proud of the painting business, C.I.P. Painting that he founded through hard work and dedication which allowed him to provide for his family.  He successfully nurtured business relationships that developed into friendships which speaks volumes of his charismatic personality.

His greatest accomplishment was teaching his children the importance of family and respecting one another regardless of gender, race and religion.

Papa, we love you and thank you for leading by example.

A heartfelt thanks to the best home caregivers who provided the best assistance to our mom and dad, Clera, Vhaneza, Maribel, Ester, Marjorie and Marcia.

The family is grateful for the exceptional care provided at the CHUM palliative care center.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Montreal Heart Institute.

We ask for your understanding in this difficult pandemic as we will be limiting visitations to immediate family.

Vincenzo Piccolo

9 novembre 1931 – 22 dicembre 2020
