A kind and gentle man has left us.
Saverio Brizzi passed away at 82 years old on Sunday July 22, 2018.
Beloved Nonno Sam was a friend to everyone. In his quiet unassuming way he touched those that came to know him.He was warm, inquisitive , generous and engaging to all that knew him.He made new friends everyday on his daily walks.
He was particularly devoted to his girls and his grandchildren.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years
Concetta Zappavigna and his two daughters Connie and Enza and their husbands Angelo and Bruno.His grandchildren Vincent( Joanna) , Justin, Anthony and Stefani will miss him dearly.
He also leaves behind his sisters in law , brothers in law and numerous nieces , nephews and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to The Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital or Fondation Hôpital Marie Clarac.


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on July 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of Pompei church (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B 1C6) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7)

  3. Our thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to the Brizzi Family at this very sad time — we share in your pain of losing someone so treasured and so loved. Although we did not know Saverio personally, we are friends of his dear daughter, Connie, her husband, Angelo and their sons, Vincent and Justin; and we recently had the pleasure of meeting Saverio’s lovely wife, Concetta — all of whom were so devoted to Saverio and loved him dearly. May the wonderful memories of the many and happier times you all have of Saverio bring comfort to your hearts and peace of mind and soul. Saverio fought hard and you all gave him total love and devotion, but we have to think that God needed another gentle and kind Angel — he now has the best.
    Rest in peace Saverio in God’s loving arms, and may God Bless the entire Brizzi Family at this sad time and forever more.
