It is with great and deep sorrow, that we announce the passing of our most precious, unique and most beautiful mother, ROSALIA AQUILINO- AMATO, on August 26th, 2022, at the age of 95.
Born in Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily, on the 29th of August, 1926.
She was the widow of her most beloved husband, Luciano Amato and was left to raise her young daughters at the tender age of 38.
She leaves to mourn her four dearest daughters.
Caterina (Antonino), Giovanna (Pasquale) , Pierina (Leonardo) and Pasqualina (Gildo),
her precious sister Francesca, her brother Domenico (Antonella), her treasured grandchildren,
her beloved deceased granddaughter Rosie, Johnny (Stephanie), Adriana (Joe), Luciano (Lidia), Alessandro (Joanna), Luciano (Amanda), her beloved deceased grandson Lorenzo, Michael (Melissa), Luciano (Sabrina) and Steven.
She also leaves her adored great-grandchildren, Marco, Milena, her beloved deceased Elessia Rose, Stefano, D’angelo, Donato, Sirena, Kera and Camila, as well as many nieces and nephews and an honorable mention to cherished Angelina (Frank), Giovanna, Domenica (Simone) , many cousins and a world full of good friends.
She devoted her entire life into raising an abundance of children which brought such great joy to her heart. She had an immense amount of love to give and lit up every room she entered with her unique, contagious and charismatic simple smile. She was what every human being should be. She truly lived her life in the loving image of GOD; The world needs more people like her. Her legacy will live on for an eternity and she will be fondly remembered by all for a lifetime.
