April 30, 1927 - October 1, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Domenica Villani (born Del Giudice), wife of the late Giambattista Villani, on October 1st, 2021, at the age of 94.  

She is survived by her children Alessandro (Sylvie Voghel), Elena and Costantina, her grandchildren Laura (Pellegrino), Marilena (Christopher), Debora (Manoli), Alexandra- Chloé (Jean-François) and Zara-Emmanuelle, her great-grandchildren Gabriella, Leila, and Daniella. As well as her sisters-in-law and her brother-in-law, her nephews, and nieces.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gaetano Morelli, Dr. Charles-Olivier Basile and Dr. Howard Stuart as well that the palliative care staff at St. Mary’s Hospital Center for the exceptional care given.

In view of the sanitary measures in force which limit the number of guests, children of the deceased ask everyone coming to be double vaccinated. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on October 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Eglise Marie-Auxiliatrice (8555 Boulevard Maurice-Duplessis, Montréal, QC H1E 4H7) followed by burial at Le Cimetière de Laval cemetery (5505 Rang du Bas-Saint-François, Laval, QC H7E 4P2)
